In other words: my mail was on the f*ckd bit.
Appreciate everyone's feedback - one of the great things about SU: the ability to check out an issue with others before you start to disassemble the whole machine.. only to find out that everyone else had the same problem. ;o)
7: J/k. I have them all running on my Mac, those that will run on it, that is. SeaMonkey is my alternate SU browser, great for checking out if an issue is "just Fx playing up". Opera has its uses, including the fact that the full-screen mode is just lush for browsing image galleries. Safari? Funny, I can never seem to make the thing work - is there a "walk on" button? Camino gets an occasional airing, too. Just to keep the piston rings free. |

More: What Firefox is to Linux, and IE is to Windows, so Opera is to the Mac. If you think of how the Mac has a great UI, tends to work, etcetera, but is closed-source; that's a good analogy of Opera's look, feel, and "philosophy".
If you're running Gnome, Galeon is worth a go, BTW; FF without the cruft is a nice ride! No SU, tho' |
