So... if I download Prism it would permit me to split the gmail web application right out of my browser and run it directly on my desktop. Hmmm. Do you (OXP/Indu/lerryn) recommend that as being more secure?
Can I still keep my gmail account closed with a password if I do it that way? |

security: As I said, no research on the topic yet. However, if you've created the app to open with https version, it will always do that-no forgetting the https part. Also, as you won't be doing much else(erratic surfing) with your prism, I guess that makes it a safer option.
Note: Remember to point the apps to https://mail.google.com instead of gmail. The certificates clash otherwise and a connection might be rejected by prism. (they are in the name of mail.google.com and not gmail.com ) |
