Sponsor | redwolf | May 14, 2004 2:17pm | I am interested in what everyone else thinks about gmail. So far, I like the interface, I got the email address I wanted with no numbers or letters at the end, and I have yet to get my first spam. While I know spam is inevitable, I can't help but think that the interface will only improve. I'm not too concerned about privacy because I plan to use it only for mailing lists, e-zines, digests and other periodic e-mails. If somebody finds out what Xangas I read or that I read lockergnome, I don't really care.
What does everyone else think? |

Still, it's not like I don't have lots of other e-mail accounts. I've had the same hotmail account now for six years. But it's become mainly a spam account. I check it every once in a while only to find six million e-mails from companies wanting desperately to increase the size of my cock. (Jeez...it's already ten inches.) In addition to hotmail, I've got a comcast account, a website account, a yahoo account, and now THIS account. Like I said though, I'm excited about it. |

So far I am most excited about the fact that i could get my preferred address with out having to add numerics to the end of my name :o) Also, I like that I could go off for 2 weeks and *no way* have to worry about running out of mailspace.
Actually, I am tending to use it for mailing lists, reflector forums, and the like ... non-personal stuff, I guess. |

That's also true about the mailspace! I do like that. This address feels more permanent. I'm constanly running close to capacity on my hotmail account...and all because of spam.
A small note -- The message composition box in g-mail offers "threaded messages," so you can read your original message plus replies to that message all in one convenient window. (It displays them all at once.) Very nice. |

I've done the same as you, I automatically copy all of my mail to my Gmail account.
Excited, me too! |
